Synopsis

Lemon, Lime, and Grapefruit, three lifelong friends have been pissing together twice a day every Monday-Friday for five years until one day a dude who just can’t hang shows up. What the fuck happens next?

Notices

All gender identities will be welcome in our intention to satirize the male gender of which we will not be taking that seriously.

8 actors will be cast. Roles may be double cast as needed.

CONTENT ADVISORY:

Lots of swears, a couple slurs, as well as pee and poop humor out the wazoo.

There will be a gun and a knife in this show. The gun does go off.

Also depictions of depression, emotion mismanagement, physical altercations, and there is a staged self harm sequence in the climax of the play.

Please take care of yourself FIRST and foremost and be vocal about anything that you’re not comfortable with. You, the actor’s safety and comfort are Jackson and Ephram’s top priority and advocate strongly for actor autonomy in our process.

Intimacy Choreography Breakdown:

26	Lime sets his headset to hold and turns to look as the men re-enter dragging Apricot across the stage. Apricot is putting up a pretty big show against the men. One of the men takes their baton and strikes Apricot over the head with it. Apricot is dragging out the door still screaming.	Apricot Guards	All moments of intimacy and fight are prone to reordering. Updated page numbers to come. There are lines throughout this action.
47-50	They size each other up for a moment before Lemon bum rushes Grapefruit for the package of baby wipes, tackling him to the floor. They’re fully wrestling now. Grapefruit pushes Lemon away from him only for Lemon to catch him by a fistful of hair. Grapefruit manages to break away from Lemon and create space. Lemon charges Grapefruit, throwing him up against a wall. Grapefruit is suddenly stabbed in the leg by his own pocketknife. Lemon does not release his pin on Grapefruit. Grapefruit, desperate to escape from Lemon, throws a fist into Lemon’s eye, knocking him backwards and to the floor. Grapefruit drops immediately to the ground clutching his leg.	Grapefruit Lemon	I haven’t written any specific fight choreography yet for any of these scenes, but nothing will be more complicated than what the brawlers were doing for Romeo & Juliet 2025. Maybe a bit of funny entanglement on the floor trying to pin the other? That would be ideal.
86-89	The ID scanner goes green and somebody tries to open the door. Lemon stands against it preventing entry. After a couple tries begins on the other side of the door. More banging. More banging. A scene is generating. Whoever is trying to get in is quite furious now. Lemon steps away from the door and it swings open, the Restroom Attendant and Pear bursting in.	Lemon Pear Restroom Attendant
98	The door is slammed shut as the boys topple over one another trying to reach a stall. They scuffle and argue as to who gets which but eventually decide and shut the doors.	Lemon Lime Grapefruit	They’re having severe intestinal distress right now. The following scene is very silly and inappropriate, all masked by a big prop.
118	They begin to fight. It’s Wrestle Mania-esque in that it is violent, fun to watch, but mostly choreographed. The only major difference is that Lemon and Lime aren’t fight choreographers and this really doesn’t look that good. It just looks sorta dangerous. The fighting continues and happens all over the bathroom.	Lemon Lime	Full choreographed... duh.
141-144	Lemon makes himself seen, pushing Pear up against the closed door, grabbing fistfuls of his shirt. Pear pushes Lemon away. Lemon responds with a right hook to Pear’s head which sends Pear to the ground. Lemon kicks Pair while he’s on the ground. Pear scrambles away from Lemon as Lime attempts to restrain Lemon from behind. Lemon breaks free from Lime and jumps on Pear who is still on the floor. Grapefruit hurries to zip and flush and jump in to help but as he’s rushing over he slips on some water and lands clean on his ass. Lemon hits Pear again and again. The altercation is beginning to draw blood. Lime pulls Lemon up off of Pear who immediately gets to his feet. Lemon is scrambling trying to break free from Lime’s hold.	Lemon Lime Pear Grapefruit
156	There is violence in the current perusal draft but I’m confident this will be eliminated.
158-164	Grapefruit, unseen, removes his knife from his pocket. Grapefruit takes the knife and brings it to the back of his skull. He takes a deep breath. Grapefruit starts to work the knife in where his chip was inserted. He struggles with this in quiet anguish. Lemon goes to Grapefruit’s stall and begins banging on the door. Grapefruit drops to the floor of his stall and the knife skitters out onto the restroom floor from under the stall door. Grapefruit, writhing in pain, crawls after it reaching as far as he can. Grapefruit grabs the knife and begins carving into the back of his head. Grapefruit keeps carving. Grapefruit isn’t stopping. Eventually, Lemon gives up resistance and goes to Grapefruit and knocks the knife out of his hands. CONT’d in intimacy.	Grapefruit Lemon	This is the toughest scene in the play. Not to stage, but emotionally for both the actors and the audience.
170- 188	In the center of the room is a large pillar to which Lime, Grapefruit, and Lemon have been tied. They have duct tape over their mouths, bandanas over their eyes, and their hands have been taped behind their backs. Pear goes to Lime and rips the tape from his mouth. Pear then removes Grapefruit’s tape. He rips the tape from Lemon’s mouth. Pear removes the GUN from his holster and hits Lemon over the head with it. Pear pushes the Restroom Attendant to the door. Pear goes to Lemon and finds the gun concealed behind his back. He cocks it and points it at Lemon. Then, with freshly freed hands, Grapefruit grabs Pear’s gun from him. Pear bolts up, startled. Grapefruit is now pointing the gun at Pear. Pear remains oddly composed. Pear begins backing towards the door. Grapefruit still has the gun locked on him. The guards do not see Lemon and Lime behind them before being knocked out. They then tie them up. Pear turns and bolts for the door. Grapefruit fires the gun and it strikes Pear in the back. He falls to the floor. Grapefruit goes to the body and kicks it a little. They begin hauling bodies into stalls.		Important information: this scene has a gun. Just one. But it does go off.
