The Government Inspector

Adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher
From the original by Nikolai Gogol
Directed by Paul Kalina

When a small Russian town receives word that an undercover government inspector is headed their way to root out corruption, the town’s leaders panic and desperately try to maintain their status quo...by any means necessary. Greed, mistaken identity, ambition, and a healthy dose of stupidity steer Jeffrey Hatcher’s witty adaptation of Gogol’s timeless satirical farce.
