| James Clarke | 29 | M | First year running the musical, wants it to go a lot better than it inevitably will. A bit stuck in his ways, but cares for the kids deeply. | ||||||||||||
| Michelle Wilson | 31 | F | Elementary school music teacher. Has great patience and love for the kids but it certainly gets tested. Knows this show will be a disaster and accepts this fate, wishes JAMES would too. | ||||||||||||
| Kaydence | 5th Grader | F | Plays Little Red Riding Hood. This means so much to her; she’s a bit too into it. | ||||||||||||
| Carter | 1st Grader | M | Plays Big Bad Wolf, first time in a play and has no idea what’s happening. Has a crush on Kaydence. | ||||||||||||
| Mason | 3rd Grader | M | Plays Narrator. Has a difficult home life and often acts out because of it. Has the sweetest soul underneath. | ||||||||||||
| Hayleigh | 4th Grader | F | Plays Granny. The original diva. Very snooty and thinks she’s better than everyone. | ||||||||||||
| Scout | Kindergartner | F | Plays Little Red Riding Hood’s mother. Her imagination knows no bounds. She’s just a little baby who’s happy to be involved. | ||||||||||||
| Synopsis | At Lincoln Elementary School, five students and two teachers have been rehearsing a production of “Little Red Riding Hood.” Today is the big day: show day! Will it go exactly as they all planned? Probably not. But that’s the fun of it, right? | ||||||||||||||
| Notices | The kids should not be played by actual kids. Emphasize the comedy of it by casting adults/college students/high schoolers. The musical within the play is meant to be bad. However, it should still be coordinated and performed safely. Improv and adlibbing are encouraged and will be at the forefront of this production process. Fight Choreography Breakdown:
