University of Iowa Symphony Orchestra (UISO) Auditions

Spring 2024 audition information will be posted in early January. Please email music-orchestra@uiowa.edu with any questions.

• Violin - Monday, August 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in VOX 5300 (chamber room on the 5th floor)
• Viola - Monday, August 21 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in VOX 2 (lowest floor)
• Double Bass - Tuesday, August 22nd from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in VOX 5400
• Violoncello - Tuesday, August 22nd from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., in VOX 5400

Jazz Ensemble and Combo Auditions

• Tuesday, January 16 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in VOX 2451
• Wednesday, January 17 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in VOX 2451

Pick up audition packets and sign up for an audition time slot in the jazz area of Voxman – 4^th floor, on the very southeast corner of building.

Choir Auditions
